Best time for boat cruise in Uganda

Lake Bunyonyi

Lake Bunyonyi is situated in Kabale district south west of Uganda. In the whole of Africa, lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest and in Uganda, it is the deepest lake one could ever find. Lake Mburo

Lake Mburo national park is located in Mbarara district western of Uganda and is the smallest park in the Pearl of Africa prior to this, the park is the only one in the country that features a whole lake inside- lake Mburo. Surprisingly, lake Mburo gives the best boat cruise experience both in the morning and the afternoon, this around 9am to 2pm. Murchison falls

This is the largest and oldest national park in the Pearl of Africa located north of the Albertine Rift Valley. Boat cruise on Lake Victoria can be done either in the morning or evening and takes about 4 to 5 hours. The Kazinga channel

The water body connects lake Edward and lake George; it is located in the western part of the rift valley. Kazinga channel is found in the heart of Queen Elizabeth national park west of Uganda. It harbors a lot of wild life like the birds and animals therefore it’s a mighty wildlife viewing destination. Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel takes about 2 hours and can be done in the morning or afternoon. Various animals can be seen on the water banks when cruising like; antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, monitor lizards among others and they can easily be seen in the dry seasons.
