Murchison falls national park

Located in the north western region of Uganda is the magical Murchison Falls national park, it is the oldest and largest safari park in Uganda blessed with lots of enchanting natural attractions worthy to explore on a safari in Africa. The park was established in 1952 covering an area of about 3,893 square kilometer that is bisected by the Victoria Nile to form the northern and southern section of the park. Murchison falls national was first visited by the first explorers namely sir Samuel and his wife Florence baker, these gave name to the park following the popular geologist Roderick Murchison visit in 1862 and John Speke and James Grant.
